Summer is coming to an end and Katy offers so many opportunities for Katy families to create unforgettable memories. Soak up the last days of summer with these activities from Katy, some of which are FREE.

1. No Label Brewing Co.

Spend a fun afternoon with great beers and friends at No Label Brewing Co. Kids can play in the playground and pets are welcome too! Rustic Katy Brewery produces craft beers and lagers. She also hosts community events, so check her calendar for next steps.

2. Mary Jo Peckham Park FREE

Retreat to Mary Jo Peckham Park to connect with nature. The property surrounds a beautiful stocked fishing pond with walking trails. Plus, kids love the spacious play area with free putt putt golf. They also have various fitness classes with first priority given to residents of the Town of Katy and Harris County.

3. Inflatable Katy

At Inflatable Katy, you can book and party indoors with their inflatable attractions. Outdoor party packages can be customized to include mini golf, batting cages, and go-karts. 4. MKT Railway Museum FREE

Visit Katy’s most iconic monument! The MKT Railway Museum is a historical monument with life-size exhibits. Make sure to take your photo with the famous red tail car.

6. Katy’s Historic Shops and Antiques FREE

Katy’s downtown is home to several eclectic antique shops! You can spend hours browsing their impressive and unique collections. Visit KT Antiques where they greet shoppers with their nostalgic soda fountain and free cookies, then head to Limited Edition Arts and Antiques, known for their art deco prints and many movie memorabilia. Historians will love Southern Historical Antique Shop for its unique variety of both Military and Civilian historical artifacts.

8. Katy Heritage Park FREE

Take a photo in front of the “You’ll Love Katy” mural! While you’re there, explore Katy’s heritage history at Wright House, Stockdick House, and visit the Tradition Bank Bandstand.

Escape the Texas heat inside the newly renovated Katy Mills Mall. The more than 165 stores offer many high fashion outlets like Saks Fifth Avenue, Kate Spade, Nike and more. The mall welcomes families to enjoy the contemporary dining pavilion, Disney Jr. Playground, and AMC Theaters.

The 32-acre park is located on the northwest corner of SH 99 / Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd., north of Cinco Ranch High School.
