In further easing of Covid restrictions, the Delhi government has allowed the military, police, workers, skills, school and college to run training programs. In addition, it also enabled academic gatherings such as functions, lectures and other academic programs in schools and colleges.

Auditoriums and meeting rooms of schools, educational establishments have also been authorized for teacher training and meetings with a capacity of 50%.

The government of Kerala has relaxed restrictions related to Covid-19 to boost tourism in the state. The government of Pinarayi Vijayan has authorized tourism activities where the test positivity rate (TPR) is less than 10%. However, staff working in tourism must take at least one dose of the Covid vaccine to take advantage of the opportunity.

In addition, tourists must also have proof of at least one dose of Covid vaccination or negative RT-PCR certificate taken within 72 hours.

In addition, the state has ordered government offices to operate at 100% capacity when the TPR is below 5% or between 5 and 10%. In areas where the TPR is between 10% and 15%, government offices will work in those locations with a staff of 50%.


The Haryana government extended the Covid lockdown until July 19, but also authorized a series of relaxations, including for students.

The Haryana government has allowed universities and schools to reopen doubting classes, lab practice classes, practice exams and offline exams in strict compliance with social distancing standards and other guidelines .

In addition, students from class 6 to class 8 will also be able to come to schools from July 23.

Foyers at universities and colleges are only allowed to open for students taking exams.

Gatherings at weddings, funerals or cremations are allowed up to 100 people against the previous 50. In open spaces, gatherings will be allowed up to 200 people, depending on the order.

Spas are now allowed to open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a 50% capacity after adopting the required social distancing standards.

Pools are also permitted to open only for athletes or swimmers participating or training for a competitive event.

Movie theaters in shopping and stand-alone centers are allowed to open with a maximum seating capacity of 50%.

Coaching institutions, libraries and training institutes, whether public or private, are also allowed to open.


The government of Tamil Nadu has allowed hotels, tea houses, bakeries, roadside shops and snack bars to operate at 50% of total capacity until 9 p.m.

In addition, exams may take place for employment opportunities in Tamil Nadu and central government.

From July 12, the state government said bus services would resume to neighboring Pondicherry.

However, in the latest Covid directive, the state government ordered schools, colleges, theaters, liquor bars, swimming pools and zoos to remain closed.


the government of Karnataka recently allowed public transport, shopping malls, shopping complexes and offices to operate at full capacity in compliance with Covid-19 protocols.

It also allowed stores, restaurants, malls, private offices and religious places to open at full capacity.

The Karnataka government also lifted the weekend curfew (7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday) in its recent ordinance.
